With building started in 2017 this second Arran distillery produced it's first spirit in March 2019. The idea behind Lagg distillery is to understand and iprove peated whiskies.
The Corriecravie is the second core range whisky from Lagg, bottled once a year in limited qualities. Initially matured in Bourbon Barrels it is finished in Oloroso sherry barrels for around 6 months.
Richer than the Kilnory this has flavours of chocolate, spiced red berries, with a finish of smoke, sweet spice and chocolate.
